Northwest Nationals is proud to support a new nonprofit organization called Soccer Saves.  Soccer Saves was co-founded by Cliff McCrath and their mission is to help teenagers in Africa make healthy lifestyle choices.  Soccer Saves and Save the Children are doing their first pilot program in Ethiopia … you can learn more about it at www.soccersaves.org.

Our reason for writing to you is that we want to help get the word out about Soccer Saves and ask for your help in raising money for the Soccer Saves programs in Africa.  Here are three ways you can help.

1. Buy tickets to the Sounders games vs. Chelsea and Barcelona.  Each ticket costs $60 ($40 for the ticket plus a $20 donation to Soccer Saves).

2. Register for the Soccer Saves Golf Classic and Roast the Nub Benefit Dinner at Newcastle – July 20, 2009

3. Sign up for a special VIP Chelsea practice viewing at Qwest Field on July 17.  This is your chance to get an up close look at Chelsea players with a good chance of photos and autographs after the practice.
