Roger Levesque

Roger Levesque has been with Northwest Nationals for two years and is also a star forward for the Seattle Sounders. In addition, he coached the NWN Developmental Academy in 2007.

Levesque helped lead the Sounders to USL-Division 1 championships in 2005 and ’07, earning second team all-league the latter season. He has spent four seasons in Seattle, two while on loan from the original San Jose Earthquakes. He was the 23rd player chosen in the 2003 MLS Super Draft.

Originally from Portland, Maine, Levesque played for the Maine Coast United and Falmouth High School, earning state player of the year in both soccer and basketball. He went on to star at Stanford, twice making All-America for the Cardinal, who were NCAA runners-up in 2002.

Levesque joined NWN as an assistant coach in 2006.
