Nicole Martinez Paus is in her second season with Northwest Nationals after coaching at the collegiate level and local youth clubs.
Paus plays for the Seattle Sounders Women in the USL W-League. Previously, she was a standout at both the University of Washington and Redmond High School. Paus was the 2000 Gatorade State Player of the Year at Redmond. and played for Jimmy Gabriel in the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association. She helped the Huskies reach the NCAA quarterfinals in 2004.
From 2005-08, Paus coached youth teams in Kent and Lynnwood clubs. She served as an assistant for the Saint Francis (Ill.) women's team in 2008.
