Mel will be coaching three teams this year: GU13 Red, GU13 Blue, GU11 Development

Mel, an Edmonds native, has played soccer for 30 years. As a player, he has won two state championships, played in one regional final and two national finals.

He has coached teams which have been in the state championship finals four times and regionals twice.
