John Heimbigner is in his second season with Northwest Nationals and is the current girls’ varsity coach at Lakeside High School.
Born in Seattle, Heimbigner starred at Seattle Pacific University, where he was a starter on the 1993 NCAA Division II championship team. Earlier he helped lead O’Dea High School to a state title.
He had played youth soccer in Seattle and Highline, and later coached in both clubs.
