PRINCETON, N.J. -- After having a hand in all three goals in Columbia's 3-2 win vs. Princeton on October 14, first-year Sophie Reiser was duly rewarded with Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors.

The Seattle, Wash. native is the second consecutive Columbia first-year to earn Rookie of the Week honors, after classmate Meggie Ford earned the same award on October 9.

After the Columbia defense stopped two early corner opportunities by Princeton, Reiser finished on Columbia's counterattack, scoring just four minutes into the match to give the Lions a 1-0 edge.

With the match tied at 1-1 at intermission, Reiser assisted on Shannon Munoz's goal that gave Columbia a 2-1 lead and little more than 10 minutes later, Reiser collected another assist, this time on a feed to Jenny Brandt, who fired home what proved to be the game-winner.
